Traveling to remote places, where the animals roam the lands undisturbed, are the places where we feel at home. 

We are Martin Sikma and Pleun Bonekamp, two full-time photographers traveling in a self-converted Land Rover Defender expedition camper to the most remote places we can find. Having a doctoral degree (PhD) in climatology (Pleun) and meteorology (Martin), we’ve researched and witnessed how the world is changing and how we (humans) are impacting the biosphere of this planet. 

We’ve always had great respect for nature and wildlife, and our love for documenting this through photography started on our life-changing trip to Madagascar in 2017. During the years that followed, photography became part of our lives and recently we decided to pursue this dream full-time.
